Grizzly Machines started with a simple question:
Why should buying a well-specified compact machine mean paying a premium-brand price?
We knew there were capable machines being manufactured around the world, but we also knew that choosing a machine based on price alone wasn't good enough.
So we took a different approach.
We looked at what operators actually need from their machines. We researched manufacturers, checked references and visited customers already putting equipment to work before choosing our partners.
Getting the manufacturers to share their customer details was our first challenge, but we visited both in the UK and Europe. A visit to China was next to see these manufacturers in action.
We didn't want the cheapest machine we could find. We wanted the right machine to put the Grizzly name on.
SELECTED, NOT SIMPLY SOURCED
There's a big difference between finding a machine and building a range you are prepared to stand behind.
Our approach is to look beyond the basic specification.
We consider the components, hydraulics, controls, attachments, operator experience, serviceability and the features that make a difference when a machine is working every day.
Where we believe the standard specification can be improved, we improve it.
That's why a Grizzly isn't simply a standard machine with different decals.
It's a machine specified the Grizzly way.
PREMIUM SPEC. BUILT IN
We don't believe you should have to work your way through a long options list just to get the machine you really wanted in the first place.
Across the Grizzly range, our philosophy is simple:
Put the right specification into the machine from the start.
That means carefully selected components, practical features and useful equipment included as standard wherever possible.
From our ultra-compact GR6 through to the GR24, the same thinking applies.
Different size. Different capability. Same Grizzly philosophy.
BUILT AROUND REAL-WORLD USE
A specification sheet can tell you a lot about a machine.
It can't tell you everything.
That's why our research hasn't stopped at manufacturers and brochures. We've taken the time to speak to and visit customers already using this type of machinery.
We wanted to understand what works, what doesn't and what operators would change if they could.
Those conversations have helped shape the specifications we choose and the standards we expect from the machines carrying the Grizzly name.
QUALITY WE'RE PREPARED TO CHECK
Quality control doesn't finish when an order is placed.
We believe in building strong relationships with our manufacturing partners while maintaining our own expectations for quality, specification and consistency.
Machines are checked against the specification we've ordered, with particular attention given to the components, finish and details that matter.
Because ultimately, the name on the side of the machine isn't the manufacturer's.
It's ours.
